Completed fieldstone entrance wall with 55 The Zenith plaque and wrought-iron fencing at a North York condominium

Stone Fence Restoration at a North York Condominium

The perimeter stone fence at a condominium property on Skymark Drive in North York had reached the end of its life. Rather than patch it, we rebuilt it from the ground up and re-clad it in natural fieldstone to match the original look.

  • Removed the old stone veneer and salvaged the usable fieldstone
  • Poured new reinforced concrete footings, with rebar dowels epoxied into the existing foundations
  • Formed and poured new concrete wall panels between the existing wrought-iron fence sections
  • Applied a waterproofing coat to the concrete before cladding
  • Re-laid natural fieldstone veneer in fresh mortar and finished the walls with cut-stone coping
  • Built a new brick pedestal with a natural stone cap for the building’s fire department connections

Completed for the condominium communities at 55 The Zenith and 65 The Elegance, with the entrances kept open and safe throughout the work.
